A perennial foxglove forming evergreen clumps that hold their presence through winter. In early summer, upright stems carry tightly packed, small flowers in warm, rusty-brown tones, giving the plant a quiet but distinctive character. Adaptable and long-lived, it settles comfortably into well-drained soils in sun or light shade, where it reseeds sparingly and without fuss.
